Moon Geun Young handwrites letter on ‘Cheongdamdong Alice’ personally

Actress Moon Geun Young‘s handwritten letter is creating a buzz.

On the December 8th installment of SBS’s ‘Cheongdamdong Alice‘, Han Se Kyung‘s (played by Moon Geun Young) handwritten letter was shown.

In the drama, Han Se Kyung writes a letter intended for the CEO of Artemis Korea (Cha Seung Jo, played by Park Shi Hoo) when her ex So In Chan (played by Nam Goong Min) is sued by the company. Han Se Kyung’s letter is written by hand with care, asking for leniency.

In the letter, Han Se Kyung introduces herself as the ex-girlfriend of So In Chan and continues, “I used to think the opposite of ‘I love you’ was ‘I don’t love you’. But now, I think that the opposite of ‘I love you’ is ‘There is nothing I can do for you’” sharing her intimate feelings to appeal to the stranger.

A production team member relayed, “Moon Geun Young wrote the letter, letter by letter with much care, understanding how Se Kyung feels in the drama. Thanks to that, the letter was more believable and even the emotional level of acting was raised to a different level.”

Netizen comments on Moon Geun Young’s handwritten letter on ‘Cheongdamdong Alice’ include: “Her handwriting is as pretty as her face”, “She could have had the staff do it but she did it herself…”, “Her passion for acting is so amazing”, “That’s is so touching”, “Gotta watch ‘Cheongdamdong Alice’!”, and “Moon Geun Young Hwaiting!”

‘Cheongdamdong Alice’, Moon Geun Young embarrassed & Park Shi Hoo takes revenge for her

Kim Ji Suk misunderstood the relationship between Park Shi Hoo and Moon Geun Young on ‘Cheongdamdong Alice’, prompting a quick
and swift revenge by Park Shi Hoo.

On the December 9th episode of SBS weekend drama ‘Cheongdamdong Alice‘, Tommy Hong (played by Kim Ji Suk) considered Han Se Kyung (played by Moon Geun Young) to be a kkotbaem. (Kkotbaem = a slang for a gold-digger. Literally flower snake.)

Han Se Kyung started a part time job as a server at a restaurant in order to get closer to Tommy Hong as instructed by Seo Yoon Joo (played by So Yi Hyun). Seo Yoon Joo had told Han Se Kyung that she needs the rabbit to guide her into the wonderland that is Cheongdamdong, much like Alice did. Tommy Hong is well known to connect the wealthy couples so he would be a perfect target.

Han Se Kyung was well prepared, even noticing that Tommy Hong is a vegetarian and making suggestions for his order accordingly.

At the same time, Cha Seung Jo (played by Park Shi Hoo) recommended Han Se Kyung to Tommy Hong as a designer. Tommy Hong mistook Cha Seung Jo to be Han Se Kyung’s sponsor at the request. Tommy Hong invited Cha Seung Jo and Han Se Kyung to his party and introduced Han Se Kyung to the wealthy people at the party. Cha Seung Jo bumped into Han Se Kyung as well but pretended to be there for the CEO as the secretary as she knows him to be.

Tommy Hong ended up suggesting to Han Se Kyung, “CEO Cha is your sponsor, right? I think president Jang also likes you. Let’s decide on you price per night first.”

Han Se Kyung was furious realizing what Tommy Hong was suggesting and threw water on Tommy Hong and Tommy Hong responded by throwing soy sauce on her.

Cha Seung Jo later noticed Han Se Kyung leaving the party covered in soy sauce and was told by Han Se Kyung, “What kind of person is the CEO? Why does he help me when he hasn’t even met me and make people misunderstand me?”

Cha Seung Jo then realized what had happened and asked, “Did Tommy Hong do this?” Cha Seung Jo ran to Tommy Hong, poured the whole container of soy sauce on him and punched him in the face for what he’s done to Han Se Kyung.

Child Actors Who Grew Up Well: Yoo Seung Ho, Baek Sung Hyun & Moon Geun Young

Child Actors Who Grew Up Well: Yoo Seung Ho, Baek Sung Hyun & Moon Geun Young

It’s always to good see a child actor grow up into a mature adult.

Yoo Seung Ho of “I Miss You”, Moon Geun Young of “Alice of Chungdamdong”, and Baek Sung Hyun of the film “China Blue” are the best examples of a child actor who transitioned into adulthood well.

Yoo Seung Ho, who has stolen the hearts of female fans with his piercing gaze, has proven that he can no longer be considered a child actor anymore. Before “I Miss You,” as wells other drama roles in “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” and “Arang and the Magistrate,” he had been a very promising child actor in movies like “The Way Home” and “Hearty Paws.”

However in “I Miss You,” he makes it impossible for anyone to consider him just a child actor. With his melancholic eyes and undeniable chemistry with his fellow actors he has fully transitioned not just out of being a child actor but into being a man.

Baek Sung Hyun, who debuted in 1994 as a child actor, will also show a more mature side in the movie “China Blue.” In the movie, he perfectly portrays a youthful young man in his twenties. The veteran actor of nineteen years gives a strong performance of a strong but lonely character. He is expected to win over viewers all over the country, especially women.

Lastly, Moon Geun Young has turned from the bright eyed adorable young girl into a lovely young woman. Moon Geun Young may not be the “Nation’s Little Sister” much longer. On “Running Man” singer Kim Jong Gook said of her, “You have turned into a woman.” In “Alice in Chungdamdong,” she shows that she is now an adult actress as she portrays a woman who has to overcome obstacles to achieve her dreams.

Nam Goong Min Praises Moon Geun Young on Her Attitude as an Actress

On his fan café on December 3, actor Nam Goong Min left a message under the title, “I can see the tears on Se Kyung’s face.” Nam Goong Min is curr
ently making special app
earances on SBS’s new drama “Alice in Cheongdamdong” as the poor boyfriend of Se Kyung, who is being played by actress Moon Geun Young.

Nam Goong Min started by stating, “Special appearance. It’s been a while since I have been at a shooting set. I hoped to look cool, but as the poor boyfriend, my makeup included dirty stubbles and dark circles. However, this is the character I must play, so I will do my best. There are some advantages of playing this kind of role. For example, I don’t have to worry about keeping my clothes or my face clean. I can just sit anywhere.”

Nam Goong Min continued, “I will be appearing on only three episodes, so I feel like a visitor. It has been a long time since I saw Geun Young, but I now have to pretend I have been dating her for past six years and break up with her. This is hard.”

Nam Goong Min added, “I wonder if the viewers will catch this. As I acted this scene, I saw Se Kyung crying. She knows her face won’t appear on the TV, but to help me play my character, she tries her best and continues to act. This must be how good partners work.”

The scene Nam Goong Min refers to is the scene where In Chan and Se Kyung break up. The viewers will only see Nam Goong Min’s sad face and the back of Moon Geun Young. However a careful inspection reveals Moon Geun Young’s tears as well.

Nam Goong Min stated, “To me, Moon Geun Young isn’t one of those selfish actresses, but someone who has a lot of pride in her work and knows how to work well with any partner. It was only for a short time, and a breakup scene was difficult, but we had a lot of respect and trust in each other and so everything went great. I was happy to work with her, and I would like to wish good luck to “Alice in Cheongdamdong.”

When Se Kyung shed tears, I cried

Special cameo?
1st outdoor shooting.
......
The reality as a poor man till the end, make up a gloomy face and dressed in somber.
No matter how troublesome it got, I'm immersed in So Inchan.
.....
Only 3 special appearances, and seen Geun Young not long ago, it's rather than the 1st time to visit a friend's home, it's hard to break up with Se Kyung like we already together 6 years.
Can people tell?
Me crying is bcos the tears of Se Kyung in front of me
Not thinking of her screen, but the Se Kyung who is trying to make me Inchan.
Do not think it is the reconciliation from a partner actress?
To my memory, Moon Geun Young is not a demure nor jiggly actress but a well prepared partner with upright character.
Was a short period of time, but feel stressful too for the scene of break up, as we just meet (in reality) and very next we go separate ways (in drama).
Feel caring for each other and seems having faith in partner, working in good match.
Acting together made me happy, 'Cheongdam Dong Alice' hits the jackpot continuously

According to one source from the production, “One time, [Moon] Geun Young came early to the set and began passing out persimmons she had cut herself.
